Worship

Worship is not how you feel.  It's about God's worth.  It's you telling God has important He is to you.

Worship is a glorious exchange.

God becomes bigger, and our problems become smaller.

What is Worship?

God created us to worship.  We've got to be set free from holding back.  Worship means to lay prostate and kiss. The word picture is of a man petting an obedient dog while the dog licks him.  We need to greet God like our dog greets us.

Does God Need Our Worship

God doesn't need our worship.  Why then would He seek it?  It's for us not Him.  The result of our worship of Him is joy.

What Is God Looking For?

God is looking for worshipers who are not concerned about what other people think.

How do I handle my pain?

Jesus went through the worst on earth, so that we could experience the best of heaven.  In your deepest pain, worship.  The harder it is to see God.  The more you need to magnify Him.

God's Will

I beg you by and because of our merciful God...

that you offer your body upon His altar for Him to live through, walk within, and breathe inside.

This is only reasonable as a true act of worship;

therefore, do not be molded into the world's image by its eternal pressure,

but use that pressure to be transformed inside by continuously remembering who you are in - Christ.

Then, and only then will you be able to understand God's will for your life.

This is God's good, perfect, and well-pleasing will. (loose paraphrase of Romans 12:1-2)
