Where is the kingdom of God and why is that important?

Where the rule and reign of God is.  That is the kingdom of God. The kingdom consists of righteousness to help us make the right choices.  A peace that passes our reasoning.  A joy that is not dependent on circumstances. We want earth to be run like heaven with God on the throne.
