Blessings start not by what happens to you, but what happens in you.

My Choice to Bless
You are invoking a blessing on
yourself when you give. The key to being blessed is how much you give. God does not determine how much we are blessed. We do.
Thinking about others who have less than you cheers you up. Thinking only about yourself brings discouragement, and is a bondage.
Receiving puts me at the mercy of someone else giving to me and isn’t a universally promised experience—unless we are givers. Me giving is my problem.

How to keep your blessings
I've held many things in my hands
and have lost them all. What I've placed in God's hands, I still
possess.
Martin Luther King, Jr.
What Should I be Praying for?
God's will must be our desire. We must not
invoke God to bless what we are doing. We must ask God what are you
blessing and help me to get in it.
